Stavros Papadopoulos is the Founder and CEO of TileDB, a next-generation data platform built for scientific discovery. TileDB enables pharma and biotech teams to manage complex, multimodal data beyond the limits of traditional relational databases—fueling FAIR data platforms and accelerating drug and target discovery.
Before founding TileDB, Stavros was a Senior Research Scientist at Intel’s Parallel Computing Lab, a visiting scientist at MIT and the Broad Institute, and part of the Intel Science and Technology Center for Big Data at MIT CSAIL. He earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science from HKUST.
